Gorges

But first of all, the gorge is famous for its geothermal and mineral springs, about the useful properties of which are legendary. Kegeti Gorge is located 75 kilometers from Bishkek. The gorge attracts tourists with its nature and a 20-meter waterfall. Kel Tor Gorge is located near Kegeti waterfall. There is a dead turquoise lake in the upper of the gorge. Among the many plants come across rare and unique medicinal herbs. A variety of forest berries grow on the slopes of the mountains: wild strawberries, bones, blueberries.
Kashka-Suu Gorge is located 30 kilometers from Bishkek. This place is attractive at all times of the year. Bir Bulak Gorge (Malinovoye) is located 45 kilometers from the city. The gorge got its name because of the vast thickets of wild raspberries. There are three waterfalls where you can swim in extremely hot weather. The gorge is rich in medicinal plants as mint, thyme, elecampane, jute.
Alamedin Gorge is located 35 km from city. The gorge was loved by vacationers not only because of the diversity of nature, but also because of the Hot Springs sanatorium which is located there. There are natural springs in the sanatorium zone. The resort operates year-round and offers a wide range of health-improving procedures. Vacationers can ride horses, taste koumiss, and try national dishes in a local cafe. Behind the complex overlooks the beautiful mountain gorge. It has waterfalls, meadows strewn with berries, mushrooms, juniper, birch forest overlooking the glaciers and the peak of Usechenko (4650 meters). The waterfall is located above the Hot Springs (about 5 kilometers).

Parks
