Your guide will pick you up at Torugart pass and then you will start your trip Tash Rabat- Caravanserai on the Great Silk Road (Stone Castle dating back to the 14th century). The building is a unique one. Tash Rabat is located at the very heart of Tian Shan Mountains. And it has no analogue in the whole world, because it was made of stones and furthermore it was built inside a mountain at a height 3200 m above sea level. The castle consists of 31 rooms. The thickness of walls is 1 m. There are also underground prison cells for ancient thieves. Traditional dinner will be served at 7 p.m. You will spend the night in yurts near by the Tash Rabat caravanserai. It is made of a wooden skeleton, covered with felt coverings. Yurts are built without nails.
Day 2: Tash Rabat - Son Kul Lake
After breakfast we begin our drive to the second largest lake in Kyrgyzstan Son Kul Lake. Lunch will be taken on the way. Son Kul Lake is surrounded by mountains and it is the highest alpine lake in Kyrgyzstan, situated at an altitude of 3013 meters above sea level. Kyrgyz nomads started to come to this wonderful area with their families for rest and relaxation. Shepherds of the Naryn region come to the lake to use it as a pastureland. After our arrival, you will be free to explore and enjoy the pristine nature of the lake and its surroundings. Dinner and overnight is in nomadic collapsible dwellings - yurts. It is made of a wooden framework, covered with felt. Yurts are built without nails.
Day 3: Son Kul (3013m. above sea level)
Breakfast time is 8 a.m. After that you will have free time at Son Kul Lake, where you will have an opportunity to explore its nature on your own. You can ride a horse along the lake, or just relax in the atmosphere of the wild, but calm nature. Lunch will be served at 2 pm. Then you will see also ancient petrogliphs and ritual stones of pagans. It is a great chance to get acquainted with nomadic traditions and culture. National dinner will be served in original nomadic houses - yurts. You will spend the night in yurts as real nomads.
Day 4: Son Kul
Today you can have a short hiking along the lake or to walk around your yurts camp. During a day you will feel complete freedom far away from busy world. Son Kul Lake is situated at the place that is completely out of the civilization! There is no traffic, TV set, radio, cell phone coverage, crowds of people... it is a perfect chance to feel as if you are one thousands years ago among nomads...
Day 5: Son Kul - Bishkek
After breakfast you will be driven to Bishkek city - the capital of Kyrgyzstan. Along the whole way you will see spectacular views of our mountains. You will see famous Boom gorge and its mountain river that flows along the gorge. As soon as you are in the capital you will go to your hotel and then we will have a farewell dinner.
Day 6: Bishkek - Ala Archa - Bishkek
Today you will be transferred to Natural Park Ala-Archa to have an excursion. This park is situated in the Ala-Archa gorge, on the Kyrgyz range (a spur of Tien-Shian), in 45 km from Bishkek. This gorge situated at an altitude of 2100 m above sea level and it is one of the most picturesque gorges in Kyrgyzstan because it has juniper and fur tree forests, Mountain River, waterfall and snow covered peaks that are possible to be seen from a far distance. You will have a trek to Ak-Sai falls, about 5-6 hours. From your path you can see the highest peak of the Kyrgyz range - Ala-Archa peak (4000 m). Lunch is near waterfalls. After that is descent to the gorge Ala-Archa. Returning to Bishkek. You will spend the night in a hotel***.
Day 7: Bishkek - Tashkent
Your guide meets you in your Hotel at the certain time arranged previously according to your flight details and accompanies you to Manas International Airport.
