This tour will provide you visiting of most interesting places of Kyrgyzstan. You will see Burana tower referring to 11 century; also you will see the pearl of Kyrgyzstan - Issik Kul Lake. It is called the eye of world because from the space it looks like huge eye, but it also a holy lake which keeps many secters. Also we are going to show you ancient petrogliphs that are dated back to the 8 century B.C. And many others interesting places!
Tour summary:
Day 1: Bishkek - Burana Tower - Issyk Kul Lake
You meet in airport with your guide after that is transfer to the hotel in Cholpon Ata (270km). On our way, we will visit the Burana Tower (minaret dating back to the 11th century) and an open air museum of Balbals (stone warriors). Cholpon Ata is the city on the northern shore of the second highest mountain Lake in the world - Issyk Kul Lake (1600 m. asl)
Day 2: Issyk Kul Lake - Karakol
After having breakfast you are transferred to Karakol city. On the way you visit ancient stone inscriptions (dating back to 800 B.C.), including the local museum. Also as an option you can have an hour on a steam boat to enjoy the beauty of the lake. The night you spend in a guest house.
Day 3: Karakol - Tamga
The entire morning is dedicated to excursion around Karakol. The tour includes visit of the Dungan mosque. One of its highlights is the fact that it was built in Chinese style without using a single metal nail. This will be followed by the visit of an old wooden Orthodox Church. Later, you will visit the museum of M.V. Prejvalsky, one of the worlds greatest explores. His biggest achievements were the crossing of the great desert Taklamakan and the discovery of more than 4000 animals. After lunch we will start our way to the impressive Jeti Oguz(from kyrkyz it is translated as 7 bulls )(30km). You will see also the Broken Heart Mountain there. Then is transfer to Tamga village.
Day 4: Tamga - Bishkek
After breakfast we go back to Bishkek along the southern shore of Issik-Kul lake. As soon as we are in Bishkek you will have a city tour lunch is included. You will visit the central Ala-Too Square, Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Pobeda Square (Victory Square), the Historical Museum, National philharmonic, Oriental Bazaar, Art Gallery and many others places of interest.
Day 5: Bishkek
Your guide meets you in your guest house at the certain time arranged previously according to your flight details and accompanies you to Manas International Airport
