Heli-ski tour in Kyrgyzstan

Heli-skiing is an incredible snow experience for a skier or boarder. 
Do you want to have unbelievable time? Then come and enjoy your heli-ski/boarding winter vacation in the heart of the Tien-Shan Mountains!
First of all you must know that if you can ski, you can also have heli-ski. You don't have to be an expert to do it!

If you can ski intermediate runs at your ski area, then you can heli-ski with us on our heli-ski program. If you have ever dreamed of going heli-skiing in the mountains; if you have seen the movies of heli-skiing and doubted your ability to do it yourself - well you can go heli-skiing or heli-boarding with us in Tien-Shan mountains where the powder snow is deep, the air is fresh and the experience exhilarating. Enjoy mountains over 4000 meters and spectacular views. Up to 1200 vertical meters of varied terrain includes glacier snowfields, ridges and cols. Mostly the area has no ski developments and many side valleys and mountains are seldom visited but have good landing places on high mountain passes, ridges and glaciers where it is possible to start descents. Then the helicopter takes the group to another location. On a good day it is possible to make about 6 trips like that.

Your guide will select terrain within a zone according to snowfall, the weather, and your group's ability. Our guides are professionals, dedicated to safety and comradeship. We employ three guides for the program. The guides carry radio and can contact with the helicopter or the mountain rescue. They also carry emergency equipment.

We use the MI-8-MTB helicopters, which are known in many countries as good and reliable helicopters. It is powered by two turbo-engines and has a carrying capacity of two tons. It can carry a group of 15 skiers and boarders, depending on weight, plus the guides and the pilots. Two pilots fly the MI-8-MTB, which means extra safety. You can be sure that the helicopters are flown by very experienced pilots, who are very experienced in heli ski and mountain rescue flying.

Heli-ski: 
Susamyr - West Karakol - Ala-Archa
Altitude: 3800 - 4100 m.          
Descents down: 800-1200 vertical m.            
Length: 1,5 - 5 km.            

Tour itinerary:

Day 1: Bishkek city
As soon as you are in Bishkek city you will have a rest for a while and then you will have a guided city tour. During this city tour you will find out everything about its unbelievable history and people that live there. You will visit Victory Square, Oak park, Ala Too Square, the History Museum. Afterwards you will have your lunch when you will try first time national Kyrgyz cuisine. Then we will visit oriental bazaar. This place is one of the favorite among travelers. There you can find everything! You can walk there for several hours making pictures of local people and their goods. After dinner you will spend night in a hotel.

Day 2: Bishkek - West Karakol
Today you will have a flight by helicopter to the West of Karakol. Then you will have heli-skiing on the slopes of our incredible mountains. Overnight in a guesthouse.

Day 3-5:  Heli-skiing
All this days you will have heli-skiing in this region. This night you will spend in a guesthouse.

Day 6: Flight to Bishkek
Half of the day you will have a chance to have heli-skiing. Afterwads you will have a flight to the capital of Kyrgyzstan -Bishkek city. Accomodation in a hotel.

Day 7: Bishkek - Airport     
Early in the morning you have a flight home.
This area is well known and used because of big variety runs for skiing and short time to reach it (only 30 min. by helicopter). With hundreds of ski runs, there is a tremendous variety of slopes to accommodate all levels of skiers and boarders from intermediate to expert.
