Day 1: Bishkek - Ala Archa - Bishkek
The guide will meet you at Manas International Airport and transfer to the capital of Kyrgyzstan - Bishkek (30 minutes from airport). Welcome to Silk Road trip 2! First to all, visit the Pobeda Square (Victory Square), Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Central Ala-Too Square, Old Square, National Philharmonic and other places of wonder. In the afternoon, we will travel to see the famous Ala Archa gorge, located in 45 km from Bishkek. On arrival, you will be impressed by the scenery of amazing high passes and have pleasure. It is best time for hiking and picnic. In the evening, we will return to Bishkek city. Transfer to hotel.
Day 2: Bishkek - Burana - Issyk Kul northern shore
We are glad to impress you by the next day of visiting the pristine Issyk Kul lake. On arrival, you will enjoy the scenic view of mountains enclosed with lake. Issyk Kul lake is defined to be the second largest alpine lake in the world of 1608 m. above sea level and famous for its healing properties. Also you can visit the Burana Tower, originated in the 11th century. Behind you will see an open air museum of Balbals. They also called the stone warriors, dedicated to fighters who lost their lives protecting Motherland. Reaching Cholpon Ata city, we will visit celestial stone inscriptions of the 800 B.C. They were found by shamans of about 2000 years ago. In addition to wonderful tours you can add to your travels visiting a local ethnography museum. Overnight is in a hotel.
Day 3: Issyk Kul - Grigorievskoye - Semenovskoye - Karakol
The next destination of our tour is travelling to the stunning connected gorges as Semenovskoye and Grigorievskoye. The place is famous for its meadows, fauna and flora. Don't miss to take photos and get acquainted with locals. They will invite you to have a rosehip tea. The nature of nomads will impress you. Then we will drive to Karakol city and visit the Dungan mosque as well as an old wooden Orthodox Church. Night is in a guesthouse.
Day 4: Karakol - Skazka - Bokonbaevo
Today we will drive to Jeti Oguz gorge or Seven Bulls, located in row. You can see waterfall by spending 20 minutes. The panorama views will be breathtaking. On the way, you will see the Broken Heart Mountain. If you pass by the southern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul, about 4 km from Tosor village you will arrive to the famous Skazka (Fairy Tale) Canyon. You will be impressed by different forms of gorge and capture it! In the afternoon, we will drive to Bokonbaevo village where we can get acquainted with local eagle-hunter and see an eagle show. Overnight is in nomadic felt dwellings - yurts.
Day 5: Bokonbaevo - Kyzyl Tuu - Bishkek
In the morning, you will drive to Bishkek. On the way you can visit Kyzyl Tuu village and see yurt workshop made from felt and wooden skeleton. We have no doubt it will be interesting for our dear guests on tours. When you arrive to the capital of Kyrgyzstan - Bishkek. Transfer to hotel.
Day 6: Bishkek - Almaty
We are glad to present the next country of Silk Road trip 2 - Almaty. You will drive for about 4 hours. On arrival you will have the city tour where you can enjoy visiting the famous highlights as for example, the Green bazaar. It will allow you to learn more about local life and see different kind of goods. In the second part of day the oldest Almaty parks - Panfilov Park as well as Zenkov Cathedral. Then, you can visit the Memorial of Glory and Eternal Flame! The sight was made due to heroes who died protecting Kazakhstan. Later on, we will drive to the Medeo Gorge and see skating rink! The view of snowy mountains will not leave anyone indifferent! Afterwards we will drive to the famous Kok-Tobe hill in order to amaze by the tallest TV tower in the world. This tour will be full of interesting locations. After that, your day will end by seienf panorama view by Almaty cableway. Rest is in a hotel.
Day 7: Almaty - Issyk - Almaty
After breakfast, we will travel to the famous gorges as Trans-Ili Alatau or Issyk Gorge. It is located on the Kuldja tract. You will have an opportunity to see the stunning views of mountains and take many interesting photos. The guide will tell you more about history where you can see the burial mounds of Saka period as well as the famous "Golden Man". Nowadays it is the maon highlight of Kyrgyzstan. In the second half of day, visit the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "ISSYK" which is close to the history and culture of the Saka period. You will find a copy of Golden Man and golden items, ancient ceramics, weapon, elements of horse equipment and the model of Saka burial mound. Driving to the altitude of 1756 meters above sea level you will find Issyk lake. The lake was appeared 10 000 years ago due to landslide. This place is perfect for a short hiking trip and picnic. Night is in a cozy hotel.
Day 8: Almaty - Tashkent
In the morning you will have flight to Tashkent at 12:15. On arrival to Tashkent international airport at about 12:50, you will be met by the driver who transfer you to the city. After rest, you will visit the Independence Square dedicated to the victory over fascism in World War II. After some time, you can visit the local Broadway near the Independence Square and Amir Timur square. In the second half of day, visit the famous Tashkent metro opened in 1977. Afterwards we will visit Chorsu Bazaar, Kukaldash Madrasah and Hast Imam. You can see madrasahs, mosques and mausoleum. It is worth seeing the Othman Quran. It is considered to be the world's oldest Quran copy of the 8th century. Transfer to hotel.
Day 9: Tashkent - Samarkand
We are pleased to present the next day of our tour travelling to Samarkand by train. Highlighting Samarkand, it is an ancient city located in the Valley of Zerafshan River. Today, it is the second largest city of Uzbekistan the same as Babylon and Rome. We will continue our tour by seeing the primarily highlights as Registan square, Shakhi-Zindeh, Mausoleum Guri Emir and Bibi Khanum Mosque. Registan Square is one of the most famous sites in Uzbekistan among tours and include three Madrasahs found belonging to the 15th -17th centuries. Shakhi-Zindeh is known for its rich assemblage of mausoleums (11th-15th centuries). Later on, it is included to UNESCO World Heritage Site. Bibi Khanum Mosque is one of the beautiful sites of Uzbekistan which is dedicated to the favorite Tamerlane's wife, after his campaign in India. Rest is in a hotel.
Day 10: Samarkand - Gijduvan - Bukhara
After breakfast, we will travel to Bukhara. Today you will have a wonderful day and visit Gijduvan village. In this place, you will see the private pottery workshop. Actually, Gijduvan ceramics has a very rich history and its skills passed from generation to generation. It is important to note that Gizhduvan developed a residence for the sixth generation of potters from Narzullayevs family and Gijduvan school ceramics. Gijduvan School of ceramics is known for its geometric patterns which has green and blue colors. The tour will be continued driving to Bukhara. You can have a stop and see the memorial complex of Al Bukhary. He was an investigator as well as the first who reviewed the hadith collection of Sahih al-Bukhari found by Sunni Muslims. On arrival to Bukhara, night is in a hotel.
Day 11: Bukhara - Tashkent
The last day of our will be dedicated to the city tour. It is worth visiting the ancient citadel in Bukhara, called Citadel Ark found (4th century). The site united some dynasties of Bukhara Empire. Then, you can visit the Samanids mausoleum, found in the 9th - 10th century. The tour will be continued visiting Chashma Ayub or Job's well including Bolo-Hauz mosque. You will find forty columns built in honor of Bukhara governor Abu-Fayud Khan. On the way, you can find shopping malls and buy national gifts. Afterwards you will visit the madrasahs of Bukhara as Nodir Divan Begi being a part of Lyabi House Ensemble. In addition, you can visit Poi Kalon complex and see three structures built in the 12th - 16th centuries like Kalon minaret, Kalon mosque and Mir Arab Madrasah. Thank you for your time on tours. In the evening is flight to Tashkent. Transfer to hotel.
