Guide will meet and accompany you to Dushanbe. In course of the tour you will have a great opportunity to learn the history of Tajikistan including the significant sights as Rudake Park, National library, White House, National state seal, and House of parliament. Place where you will capture to take photos is Ministry of Inner Affairs and the flag, the pole of which is about 165 m high, 30 m wide, 60 m long. After it you will have excursion in the Gurminj Museum. We are happy to let you see the traditional instruments. Along with this place we offer to visit the Asian bazaar. The day ends with the night spent in the hotel.
Day 2: Dushanbe - Khoburubot - Kalai Khum
In course of the travel you will have a trip to the famous Khoburubot Pass the height of which is 3252 m above sea level. The people call it the Western Pamir Tract. During the drive you will have an opportunity to witness natural landscapes around the pass which will mesmerize you. You will have a lot of photo stops to capture the breathtaking views. Here you will notice how Tajik people are extremely hard-working and kind-hearted people. They will always communicate with the guests and inform about their customs and traditions and of course to show the very essence of the nation. The night is in the hotel.
Day 3: Kalai Khum - Khorog
Today you will explore Khorog. Here you will be amazed by the fact that this city is lays among the mountains. While driving o this place you will notice that this city appeared on the fusion of Shokhdara river and Ghund river flow into Pyanj river. In addition it will be very good opportunity to meet the people of Pamir. They live in seclusion and due to this they have traditions that are a bit different from Tajiks, but still stand to be rather hospitable and friendly ones. The people of Pamir are known for their appearance such as blond hair, blue eyes. The Pamir Mountains are considered to be the highest ones where the people live, on the first place the Himalayas in Tibet. The night is in the boarding house.
Day 4: Khorog - Langar
Today you will drive along the Tajik-Afgan border to each the Langar villageThe drive will go through the Pamir mountains which are known for the tops that reaches the sky, with the snow glittering and the lakes with rivers that are hidden on the high altitudes. Due to the huge elevation this place also known as "the Roof of the World". The altitude of the mountains varies from 3 500 to 4 200 m above sea level. Due to live separately in mountains Pamir peoples have the differences in languages and cultures, traditions and customs even among them. Night is in homestay.
Day 5: Langar - Murgab
In course of the tour to the Murghab the road will go through the Naizatash pass. It is considerate to be one of the most visited places in Tajikistan during the travel. While being transferred at the height of 4137m above sea level you will be able to see the Roof of the World. According to local people the tour to in Tajikistan is not complete without visiting this place. The Murgab is famous for huge amount of rocks and peaks on it. The altitude here is 6000m above sea level. Due to the height the climate becomes colder and colder. Even in the summer the temperatures are low and uniqueness of the place is seen in it. The overnight is in the boarding house.
Day 6: Murgab - Yashil Kul Lake - Bulunkul Lake - Khorog
Destination for today is Khorog. On the way to it you will visit the lakes called the Yashil Kul and Bulunkul. If you translate the names of the lakes than Yashil Kul will mean "the green lake" and Bulunkul "blue lake". These sights are famous for the breathtaking view that you can witness on the altitude of 3700m above sea level. There is the probability that the name to these lake were given due to the color of the water. The lake is full of fish. While enjoying the incomparable view you will have a chance to see the animals like yaks, cow and sheep. Then we pass the Naizatash pass, Pamir Highway (M41 Pamir Tract) and get to the last destination of the day, Khorog. The night will be in boardinghouse.
Day 7: Khorog - Kalai Khum
Today you will visit the Kalai Khum. You will be find this place is on the altitude of 6000m above sea level due to which it was possible to build only one road. You will be impressed by the incredible view of the territory. While exploring this site you will be able to enjoy the surroundings, the history of the sites and the people. Here all the locals will be glad to share their knowledge with you about the life and traditions of the local people. Due to the near location of the Afgan stony villages and gardens tours here re very popular. After all of the sightseeing of the day have been seen, the night will be organized in the hotel.
Day 8: Kalai Khum - Norak - Dushanbe
In course of the tour you will drive back to Dushanbe. The road will go along the Shuraba pass which altitude is 2267m above sea level as well as being part of the Pamir Mountains. Many great travelers were impressed by the grand view of Pamirs and for example, Marco Polo, Hsuan Tsang, Mirza Muhammad Haidar used to wander here. In addition it will be possible to witness the border of Pyanj River. The people call the Pamirs as the mountains which touch the sky. Then we get to the Norak water reservoir, investigate it. After that you will continue to drive back to Dushanbe. The night will be in the hotel.
Day 9: Dushanbe - Iskanderkul Lake
Today you will have the highlighted part of the tour where you can see and explore the Iskanderkul Lake, the altitude of which is 2225m above sea level. This alpine lake has a breathtaking area where you can enjoy the beauty of the nature. In course of the travel you will drive via the Anzob pass that lays on the elevation of 3372m above sea level and get to the amazing waterfall. During the trip everyone will get the information about the country to be one with the great amount of water resources in all of the CIS countries. The night will be organized in the boarding house.
Day 10: Iskanderkul - Dushanbe
In course of the tour you will be transferred back to the city. Upon arrival you will have an opportunity to visit the Central Museum. While exploring it you can witness the history and the past heritage of the Tajik people. After it you will investigate the center of the park where everyone can still enjoy the art of 22 galleries. Then the group gets to see the replica of the Buddha monument. The night is booked in the hotel.
